Dr Victoria Ross is a research fellow at the Australian Institute for Suicide Research and Prevention (AISRAP). She has research experience and expertise in the areas of workplace suicide prevention, suicide prevention in young males, rail suicide and suicide hotspots, suicide and natural disasters, program evaluation, suicide bereavement and postvention support. Her research interests span all aspects of evidence-based suicide prevention, policy and practice. She has published numerous peer reviewed articles, book chapters and reports and is a reviewer for a number of peer-reviewed journals in the suicide prevention field. She provides expert advice to suicide prevention advisory committees at regional, state and national levels. Victoria has been a chief and co-investigator on a wide range of government and commercial consultancy projects (including the Lifeline Foundation, Gold Coast University Hospital, Mental Illness Fellowship Queensland, Wesley Mission, Beyondblue, Mates in Construction, and Energy Queensland).
