Ms Sveticic is an experienced researcher in the area of mental health and suicide prevention with a demonstrated history of working in academia, community and government setting. She is skilled in research design, a range of statistical analysis, academic writing and teaching. Since 2008, Ms Sveticic has authored and co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and has a current h-index of 12.

Ms Sveticic works at Gold Coast University Hospital where she is evaluating the Suicide Prevention Strategy following the Zero Suicide Framework. She is also a member of the QLD State Committee of Suicide Prevention Australia, and the Suicide Prevention Research Leaders Network. Ms Sveticic is currently completing a PhD at Griffith University, where she is researching the role of police in responding to mental health related calls.
